Cartwheels

The world is spinning
Blurred vision
Alternating from
Green grass
To cerulean sky
It keeps spinning
A dandelion waves hello
As I pass by
Sorry
I can’t stop to chat
Too many
Whirling
Twirling
Limbs
A swirling sea of
Smiles that stretch for miles
Madness
Going so fast
Can’t stop
And then
Thud
Reality
My spinning cartwheel world
Has come to an end

  1. I love how you keep the energy moving forward in this poem, just like a cartwheel.
